Ben Nevis Distillery - An Evening Through The Ages

Join us in the Casa de Vinos Lounge for a very special evening celebrating one of Scotland's most revered cult distilleries, Ben Nevis.

Ben Nevis has long held a special place amongst whisky enthusiasts. It's one of those distilleries that collectors and drinkers alike always keep an eye out for whenever new shipments arrive from Scotland, with each release offering its own unique expression of this iconic Highland distillery.

For this tasting we've assembled an outstanding line-up of official and independent bottlings, culminating in a truly extraordinary dram. The evening's centrepiece is the Ben Nevis 52 Year Old 1973, bottled by Thompson Bros. At 52 years of age, it is the oldest single malt whisky ever poured at a Casa de Vinos Lounge tasting, making this a rare opportunity to experience a whisky that very few people will ever have the chance to taste.

Throughout the evening you'll be guided through a 15ml flight of six Ben Nevis whiskies in a relaxed masterclass-style tasting, featuring:

• Ben Nevis 52 Years Old 1973 – Bottled by Thompson Bros. – 40.1% ABV

• Ben Nevis 28 Years Old 1996 – Single Refill Sherry Butt – Bottled by Thompson Bros. – 47.8% ABV

• Ben Nevis 11 Years Old 2012 – Single American Wine Cask – Bottled by La Maison du Whisky – 59.4% ABV

• Ben Nevis 10 Years Old 2015 – First Fill Sherry Butt – La Maison du Whisky Artist Series #15 – 58.3% ABV

• Ben Nevis 10 Years Old 2015 – First Fill Oloroso Cask – Bottled for Whisky Live Paris 2025 – 46% ABV

• Ben Nevis 10 Years Old – 46% ABV

As with all Casa de Vinos Lounge whisky nights, the tasting will be accompanied by shared cheese and charcuterie boards on each table, with plenty of time to chat, compare notes and enjoy an evening in great company.

Due to the extremely limited nature of the 52 Year Old bottling, this whisky has been reserved exclusively for guests attending the event. Unfortunately, we won't be able to prepare take-home sample packs for those unable to join us on the night.
