It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Casa de Vinos Lounge for the inaugural Australian Mystery Malt Masters.

This one-of-a-kind whisky competition challenges your palate, your nose and your whisky knowledge against fellow enthusiasts.

For the evening, we will open a sealed case containing six Thompson Bros. Mystery Malt whiskies. The identity of each whisky will remain completely unknown to everyone in the room as you taste your way through the line-up. After each dram, competitors will attempt to identify the whisky from a list of possible expressions, earning points as the evening progresses.

As the competition unfolds, each round becomes increasingly challenging, with communication between hosts and fellow competitors becoming more restricted. Every decision counts as you work your way towards the title.

Who will earn the right to wear the iconic green Mystery Malt Masters Jacket at the end of the night?

Throughout the evening there will be a range of prizes up for grabs, including the major winners prize of:

• A bottle of a Casa de Vinos x Thompson Brothers Exclusive Release

• Two double passes to Whisky Abbey Festival

• Complimentary entry into the next Mystery Malt Masters when the following Mystery Malt Series is released

The competition will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm under competition conditions. Once the champion has been crowned, guests are invited to remain in the Casa de Vinos Lounge to enjoy a dram (or two) from our extensive Thompson Bros. selection and celebrate the evening together.

Whether you're a seasoned whisky taster or simply love a challenge, Mystery Malt Masters promises an evening of friendly competition, great conversation and exceptional whisky.  The main goal of the night is to enjoy each other's company and have fun with some terrific whiskies in hand.
